Amanda Rausch

I am a Licensed Massage Therapist going to school at LATI for Physical Therapy Assistance. I've been a LMT for over 5 years and have worked with some amazing people. I decided to go back to school to add onto my career. The combination I think will be amazing for my patients, when I'm done with the PTA program in 2012.

I have one sister who means everything to me.When I'm not at work or school I like to bake on the side for special occasions. I also love to play the piano or work on my art when I have a spare moment. Even though I have only one sister I have a very large extended family.

I love learning about the human body. I'm finding that Human Physiology is one of the most interesting subjects I've learned in a long time. This subject makes understanding Anatomy, Kinesiology, and my other PT courses much easier.

I am a 2010 graduate from Roslyn S.D. I am going to LATI to become a physical therapist assistant. I choose this field because I want to help people and make a difference in their life.

I have one sister, two brothers, and a nephew. I grew up on farms most of my life and love living out in the country. We have lots of cows and a couple of dogs and cats. You could call me a work-aholic because that is what I enjoy doing. As a waitress I get to meet new people and talk to people all the time and on working on the farm has its fun times too. I also like to hang out with friends, read books, listen to music, ice fish, and go tubing.

I like learning about the human body and knowing how the human body works and functions will help me be a better physical therapist assistant for my patients.
